Re: Overview of old Lamy models?

Answer 02 Author: hotap Hello Saarlaenderin (I’m getting used to the name ;) ), hello everyone. From my own long standing experience! When you want to insert a link you have to mark it and then click on „URL“, up in the menu. It’s silly I know. In the other forums it isn’t necessary, but the high qu...

Re: Pelikan 400 NN black with striped ink window

Answer_04 Author: Linceo My black striped Pelikan 400 NN arrived yesterday and I am very happy about it. The only downsides were a not mentioned name engraving and I had to water the piston to make it work again. The OBB nib is in a very good condition, shines like new, and writes soft and with a fu...

Re: Pelikan 400 NN black with striped ink window

Answer_03 Author: werner Hello Linceo, There are no technical differences between the models 400, 400 N and 400 NN. The differences are only due to design and Zeitgeist. The nibs had a change 1954 with the nib insignia. About the flexibility all I can say is that all three models have very flexible ...

Thanks for the information Werner. Are there any technical differences between 400, 400N and 400 NN, besides the shape and size?

Am I right in assuming that the 400 NN has a relatively flexible nib, an ebonite ink feed with lengthwise rills and a strong ink flow?

Re: Pelikan 400 NN black with striped ink window

Answer_01 Author: werner Hello Linceo, There are two black colored versions of model 400NN. The one you were offered over eBay with the changing grey/clear shaft and the second version that has a black non-clear shaft and green ink window. The earlier model 400 I only know with the striped shaft. Wh...
