Hello,
as a collector at her beginnings, here my question: What are the fountain pen legends of each line? The ones that shouldn't be missing in any collection?
Until now, I have been holding on to older ones from the 50's and 60's, such as the Lamy 27m, a Lamy 99e and a Parker 51 Aeromatic. But these certainly are the thin end of the wedge…

Hello,
I don't see it that way. There are all different kinds of beautiful pens. You might even have a pen that other collector's envy you for. What you mean is a mere question of money. You can get any pen you want if you are willing to pay the right price. I've been collecting pens since 13 years now. It's easier sticking to one brand when collecting fountain pens. My masterpiece among my collectibles is he 25 safety pen from Montblanc and it has been my writing companion ever since.

Have fun collecting

Harald.

Hello Harald,
I think you misunderstood me. To me it's not about money and values, what I meant were the milestones in the history of fountain pens.

And this one from jif waterman. The glass cartridge pen is a real milestone in the history of fountain pens.

I used to have one. The original cartridge can only be filled with a syringe, but these pens write really well.

I am also a fan of fountain pen and used to collect some,
The book by Andreas Lambrou "Fountain Pens Vintage & Modern" is a very good reference for vintage pens,
