Hello,

what ink do you use. Normally inks are not water resistant, for example Waterman Florida blue, Pelikan royal blue and others.
Ink spots should erasable with water or detergent for dish washing.

Best regards

Benutze ausschliesslich Sheaffer´s, verschiedene Farben. Kann man aus dem gruen-gestreiften schlecht entfernen. Vergiss Seife & co., geht nicht. Dks

Removing stubborn ink spots from a green striped Pelikan fountain pen can be a delicate task. Saliva and thumb scrubbing may not suffice for deep stains. Instead, consider using a specialized pen cleaning solution or a gentle mixture of water and dish soap. Dip a soft cloth or cotton swab in the solution and carefully dab at the ink spot. Avoid excessive pressure to prevent damaging the pen's finish. If the ink persists, consult a professional pen restorer for advice.

Create a solution of warm water and a small amount of mild soap. Dampen a soft cloth or sponge with the soapy water and gently rub the ink spots. Rinse the cloth or sponge thoroughly and wipe away any soapy residue afterward.
