Hi,
I bought an M1000 a few months ago. I have a problem with the ink flow when the nib first touches the paper. I thought that this would correct itself after using the pen for some time, but it hasn't. I would take it back to the shop but some time has now passed since I bought it. I wonder if anyone can help?

Hi Johnboy,
welcome at our pen forum. Where do you come from?
Your problem was discussed at PENTRACE>>COM under PENTRACE>>COM\PENBASE (Pen Docor- changing Pelikan Nibs).
Please send your Pelikan (nib) to your Pelikan service center. I´m convinced they will help you and modify or change your nib. In Germany we are used to send nibs not suitable to Pelikan in Hannover. It doesn´t mind if used or not. When guarantee has ended Pelikan in Hannover still accepts used nibs if not damaged optically.
Best regards

Thomas,
Thanks very much for your help. I have visited the Pen Doctor website and sure enough my nib is the type with the flow problems. I now know that I an not on my own with this. I live in a village 40Km west of London and apologise for my use of the English forum. As I expected your English is much better than my German! Thanks once again Thomas for your reply. Regards, johnboy.
