Because of this, some people avoid outlet stores altogether while others enjoy hunting down deals at outlet stores.<br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br />Locals' primary worry regarding this plaza's plans to bring in large chain stores is that its owner plans on replacing small mom-and-pop shops that have existed there for some time with big chain ones; many worry this construction project may cause them to lose customers as well as livelihoods in an economy heavily reliant on tourism.<br /><br />Novak Construction, which owns the plaza, has not responded to our inquiries for comment on their planned renovations of new facades and roofs for existing buildings, surface parking lot renovations, landscaping upgrades and lighting improvements. They have yet to secure tenants for either existing buildings or their proposed new addition.<br /><br />
