Ironing the seam to set it may in fact trigger the component to pucker and rise, yet this making quilts recommendation prevents that. Just fold the seam as preferred and after that put the iron on it without moving the iron in all. Leave it in pace for a couple of secs as well as the seam will prepare with little bit of or even no initiative.
