The hole, or rather the air slot, of my pen is under the "nib area" of the clip arrow (So pretty far upwards).

Maybe they have already changed it on your pen?

Thanks for the hint with the tape. However, I really don't see a hole in the cap, not under the clip and not anywhere else either – not even with a magnifying glass and held against the light.

Hello Roswitha,

I would say the ink interruption is due to the hole in the cap (under the clip). I just glued it closed with a piece of tape – and the problem was solved, no matter how long it was kept in the desk.
