Hello Werner,
Of course, you are right. Only my 725 in black has a screw cap. The “better” models have a cap to push on, like your list says.
I guess I was a little too hasty, sorry.

Hello Ewald,
My two Goldschwinge pens have finally arrived. I have noticed that the younger model 722 has a silver push-on cap, whereas the silver metal cap of the older model with the fancy nib has a screw cap. I find that rather irritating, because I am used to pulling on metal caps before I try screwing them. Both models are in an excellent condition. Pictures will follow.

Hello Peter and everyone else,
Who would really buy at that price? That’s all I have to say to that offer.

I have another question on Goldschwinge pens: Both models that I bought have the famous reserve tank. Does anyone know how it works?

Hello, Linceo,
I have finally scanned the instruction manual for my Goldschwinge 725, but I am not able to upload it, because it’s a .pdf-file. But it doesn’t say very much, either: They talk about the reserve tank a little (Quote: “Turn on reserve tank when main supply is used up. Push down on-button using the safety cap. Reserve ink will last for a couple of pages. ")
For filling it says: "Hold nib over the opening of the ink jar, turn the filling cap all the way to the left and the on-switch of the reserve tank is pushed out. Dip the nib completely into the ink and turn the filling cap all the way to the right again. Let three drops drip out by turning the filling cap slightly to the left, then pull the filling cap tight again.
Cleaning the pen: Fill with water every 3 months and empty it again. Mind to turn on the reserve tank when doing so. Remove all remaining water. Keep the inside of the cap clean. When the fountain pen is not in use, mind to keep the cap on tightly.
I’ve found an image about the Geha Synchro-ink feed. I will attach it to this posting.
Greetings,
Ewald

Hello Ewald,
That’s right, pdf-files cannot be uploaded and posted. I tried it myself and it failed. What I did was to print out the pdf-file, scanned it and saved it again as a jpg-file. Then I had no trouble posting it.
Regards,
Werner
