Which Pelikan is best for...

Beitrag von Ink Blot »

...frequent writing? I'm looking for a Pelikan that's going to be comfortable, neat, and reliable no matter where I'm wrting. Well, obviously if I'm on a bumby car ride while trying to balance a notebook in my lap I'm out of luck, but you know. I'm considering a Level 5. Suggestions? Comments? Any other brands and makes anyone would recommend?

The L5 is a good choice, for it is reliable and has got a huge ink tank. But it is little bit large. (There was a cheaper variant of the Level Pen, the L65, which is made of plastic.)
The Pelikano P460 is a very good pen too with cartridge system. It is not expensive, looks good and is very comfotable in use.

If you're looking for a more elegant and precious pen, there are two series of Pelikan models: the Epoch P360 and the Celebry P570/580. Both are cartridge system-Pens. They have different designs. So you can choose, which of them fits to your personal preferations.

And the there are the piston-filled pens of course. The have got large nibs made of solid Gold or Gold plated. There are several models in different sizes.

I would say that there is hardly no Pelikan pen that I could not recommend, so it depends of your needs, personal style and how much money you would like to spend, to choose the right one.
