Silver Pelikan m200 rare?

I recently bought a Pelikan m200 online from a German seller. The ad says "Pelikan M200 1997 - Rundkappe", and the barrel is a silver pearl. I bought the pen because I fell in love with it really, but the seller is claiming that Pelikan has discontinued the color, and the "rundkappe" (round cap) design, and the pen will be uncommon soon. Anyway, I was wondering if anyone knows anything about this pen, its color, and its design. I googled for a good day and half and came up with nothing. Thanks again.
